Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting

Women Graduates–USA is a nonprofit organization whose members are college and university graduates, graduate students, doctoral candidates and post-doctoral researchers. As members of WG–USA, our members are also members of Graduate Women International; WG–USA is the US Affiliate of GWI. Our international perspective informs our advocacy for social and economic justice for all women and girls. 

Women Graduates–USA mission, vision, education, advocacy and action are inspired by its members, governed by Policies, Procedures and Bylaws, and guided by the Board of Directors.

For the first time n 2024, WG–USA will convene an in-person Annual Conference and a virtual Annual General Meeting (AGM).

• The Annual Conference: Within the multi-day agenda, issues-oriented presentations are made by guest speakers and members. Registration is available to membeers, colleagues, partners and fellow stakeholders in advocacy for women and girls. It is a time for members and friends to meet for collegial and passionate discussions. 

• The Annual General Meeting: The AGM is a single day event for members which occurs each fall to conduct the business of the organization.  Election results are announced, financial reports are reviewed and the coming year’s budget is presented for adoption,
