WG-USA Resolves:

…WG-USA will take the necessary actions to advocate for the passage of US Senate Resolution 3477/House Resolution 6255 that would create by law The Women, Peace and Security Act of 2012 to ensure the implementation of the US National Action Plan of the US State Department of December 2011.

Plan of Action:

At this time there are no action items.

Supporting Statement:

The Action Plan of the State Department could be changed by Executive Order of a different Administration, therefore, bi-partisan action was taken in August 2012 by both houses of Congress, to make that Action Plan a law of the US.

Financial Implication for WG-USA:

At this time no cost is anticipated.
